Hello and welcome to Portraits of War!

My artwork is hugely influenced by artists and writers from Games Workshop and the Black Library. So I decided to start a blog where to show my drawings and illustrations inspired on the Warhammer’s universe.

My favourite technique is ball-point pen on paper. I’ve a fascination for black & white. The beauty of working with ball-point pen is that there is little room for mistakes, there is not an undo button.

Please feel free to leave your comments and thoughts, they’re going to be appreciated. I’ll be uploading old and new artwork as well as sketches and doodles with ideas that are always swirling in my mind.

Warhammer Online was the main reason I started blogging. I used to play on the RP server of Burlok. I favoured the dwarfs, being the Engineer and the Ironbreaker my classes of choice. I had the honour to be member of Grom Karaz and the Stoneshield Clan, dwarf only guilds. I haven’t been playing for a while but I’m always keeping an eye for WAR…
